Laboratory Studies

In the chemistry and materials engineering laboratory, the infrastructure of which is prepared, the synthesis of thermoelectric materials used in many areas such as microprocessors, lasers and infrared detectors, bio materials, power chimneys, spacecraft has started. These materials, which are generally produced with rare earth metals and work at high temperatures, are synthesized with polymeric materials in the current study and it is aimed to make them more advantageous in terms of cost, working conditions and efficiency. The studies of the BAP projects named "Investigation of the strength and fragmentation relationship of Al2O3 armor ceramics containing Cr2O3 and ZrO2 additives in different ratios for impact condition" and "Investigation and optimizing of parameters affecting efficiency of CZTS solar cells using statistical methods" are carried out in our laboratory.
